Control Room Operator

We are seeking a hands-on and safety-focused Control Room Operator to lead corrugator operations at a high-paced manufacturing facility. This role involves overseeing production crews, monitoring equipment, enforcing safety and quality standards, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient shift performance. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, leads by example, and takes pride in maintaining both product quality and team performance.


Primary Functions:

  • Enforce and model all company safety practices while ensuring all production employees work safely through consistent training, observation, and monitoring.

  • Maintain product quality standards by monitoring production with a goal of 100% perfection.

  • Ensure all operators are properly trained and perform their assigned tasks according to job descriptions and standard operating procedures.

  • Operate the corrugator in alignment with plant operating culture and principles.

  • Perform and train others on all necessary quality testing and functions.

  • Maintain clean machines and work areas to support a safe and efficient environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in corrugated manufacturing or similar production environment

  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality standards in manufacturing

  • Ability to read production schedules and interpret job specifications

  • Experience supervising or coaching operators, with a team-first mentality

  • Comfortable with shift leadership responsibilities and cross-functional communication

  • Physically able to lift to 50 lbs., stand/walk throughout shift, and work in high-noise environments

  • High school diploma or equivalent; leadership training or manufacturing certifications a plus

Schedule:

  • 3rd Shift, 10am-6pm
