Controls Engineer – Direct Hire

Sturtevant, WI

Up to $110K

We’re partnering with a well-established manufacturer that designs and builds highly automated production equipment. This is a hands-on Controls Engineer role focused on PLC programming, machine troubleshooting, and supporting custom automation systems in a stable, growing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Program, troubleshoot, and debug Allen Bradley PLCs & HMIs (Studio 5000 / FactoryTalk)
• Support new machine builds, upgrades, and retrofits
• Perform electrical troubleshooting on automated equipment
• Read and work from electrical schematics (AutoCAD Electrical)
• Assist with commissioning and machine startups
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve system performance
• Minimal travel (rare in practice)

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of PLC programming experience
• Strong Allen Bradley PLC/HMI background
• Electrical troubleshooting & schematic reading skills
