Job Title: Control Engineer
Location: Reno, NV

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated controls engineer to design and build advanced automation and robotic systems. You will work from concept through installation - owning electrical design, PLC/robotics programming, debugging, and integration. This role is ideal for engineers eager to learn rapidly evolving technologies and deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.
Note: Candidates may specialize in either PLC or Robotics (not necessarily both).
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build automation and robotic equipment.
- Own solutions from concept to factory installation.
- Develop machine concepts and proof-of-principles.
- Create electrical layouts and controls schematics.
- Program PLCs, HMIs, drives, and robotics systems.
- Debug hardware/software and support factory acceptance testing.
- Integrate systems on-site and support production ramp-up.
- Stay current with new automation tools and technologies.
Required Skills (Core Focus)
PLC Track
- Siemens TIA Portal expertise (1–2+ years)
- HMI/SCADA development and drive configuration
- Experience with controls hardware: sensors, remote I/O, servos, VFDs, machine vision, barcode readers
- Knowledge of industrial networks: Profinet, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT
Robotics Track
- Experience with FANUC robots
- iRVision experience is a plus
