Job Description
- the electrification grid solution business and GSI (grid system integration), focuses on secondary design, including auxiliary systems, protection control, and cybersecurity for both brownfield and greenfield substations. They work on diverse projects, including utility projects (e.g., PG&E), data centers, oil and gas, and petrochemical industries
- Top Priority: Strong understanding of protection and protection design, including various protection schemes (line differential, transformer, busbar, CB fail protection) and the ability to spec CTs and read protection collection studies.
- Significant Plus: Knowledge of AC/DC systems, battery chargers, and auxiliary systems.
- Beneficial: Experience with control systems, substation automation, HMIs, gateways, network architecture, and cybersecurity knowledge, though not the highest priority.
- Experience: Minimum of five years of experience is required, as they need individuals who can be effective quickly due to the fast-paced environment and current project load. While a bachelor's degree is , relevant experience can compensate.
- he role involves approximately 80% office-based design work (50% pure design, 30% design reviews) and 20% travel for site activities and customer meetings.
