Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing:
\n
- \n
- Designing and implementing modifications to existing electrical, robotic, and PLC automation equipment to improve uptime and reliability
- Troubleshooting controls and automation systems and driving equipment improvements
- Managing projects, suppliers, and new process equipment while keeping projects on schedule and within budget
- Coordinating major maintenance, emergency repairs, and corrective actions
- Supporting continuous improvement and capital projects
- Leading and mentoring others through troubleshooting, equipment design, and automation development

What you need to have:
\n
- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical field
- Minimum 4+ years of automation experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Must have strong experience with Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal
- Knowledge of Profibus, Profisafe, Safety Integrated, and ASI-Bus
- Ability to create and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
- Familiarity with risk assessments and safety evaluations

Bonus points if you have:

- Master’s degree in Engineering or MBA
- Experience with FANUC Robots, FANUC Vision, Cognex Vision, and Atlas Copco tools
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and safety codes
- AutoCAD experience
