Job Description

We are recruiting for a Controls Engineer to join a specialist engineering manufacturer based in Clydebank.

The business design and manufacture industrial systems used Globally. Due to continued project wins & Growth, they are strengthening their Controls team.

This role is suited to an engineer who wants ownership.

The Role

• Write PLC programs from scratch
• Develop control logic and HMI systems
• Produce electrical and instrumentation designs
• Configure industrial communications networks
• Conduct in-house testing and FAT
• Travel to site for commissioning
• Work directly with customers during project delivery

The Person

• Experience with Siemens PLCs (others considered)
• Proven ability to develop PLC applications independently
• Comfortable working both in-office and on-site
• Strong communication skills
• Degree or relevant engineering qualification desirable
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel overseas when required

Hybrid working available after probation. Flexi-hours structure in place.
