nou Systems is pleased to announce the opening for a Contracts & Project Controls Analyst who will join our Business Operations team in Huntsville, AL and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. The Contracts & Project Controls Analyst will manage government/commercial contracts and support project control activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and effective program performance tracking.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, prepare, administer, and close contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, TAs, and related documents
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations
- Support proposal activities, including data calls and contractual volume preparation
- Apply strong analytical, contracting, and pricing skills to manage government contracts, negotiations, and purchasing with full regulatory compliance
- Interface with customers, vendors, and internal teams on contract and project matters
- Prepare purchase orders & requisitions and requests for quotes; review vendors; issue subcontracts and modifications
- Maintain organized contract and project control files
- Assist in developing and tracking project budgets, forecasts, and schedules
- Prepare cost/schedule reports
- Monitor actual expenditures vs. budgets and support financial reviews
- Support AS9100 audits and maintain awareness of regulatory changes
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Acquisition, Finance, or related field and 2+ years of contracts/project control experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- You must be a U.S. to be eligible for this position

Qualifications:
- NCMA certification (CFCM/CPCM)
- Familiarity with DCAA procedures and Unanet (or similar ERP)
- Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
- Strong MS Office proficiency; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
