Job Description

My client, a main developer is looking for a Contracts Manager for a brand-new flagship scheme in Little Chalfont, Buckingham.  The ideal candidate will have worked as either a CM or PM running multiple large volume build traditional build housing schemes with knowledge of NHBC\n\nThis role will be covering projects across Hertfordshire and Essex, with the HQ in Essex\n\nDuties,\n\nCM, reporting into the Construction Director\nWorking with a SM, ASM or a Trainee ASM\nPre-start meetings\nChair sub-subcontractor meetings\nRecruitment\nEnsuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme\nRAMS\nFull understanding of H&S and ensuring its adhered to\nSnagging of sub-contractor work\nConducting meetings with sub-contractor directors\nProviding accurate and regular reports on progress and dates\nControlling additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure\nReporting to department heads\nDriving through quality at every stage of the construction process\nEnsuring the development pass internal and external inspection processes\nTaking responsibility for self-development and the development of others\nMonitoring and controlling the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to subcontractorsQualifications,\n\nCM or PM, working for a PLC, on trad build projects\nExperience of running projects simultaneously\nNew build, residential experience\nCSCS , Black card\nFirst Aid, Scaffold awarenessBenefits\n\nCompetitive salary\nBonus 20%\nCar allowance\n27 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays\nPrivate Healthcare\n7% Pension\nBonus
