Project Manager – Passive Fire Protection\n\nLocation: Newcastle or Peterborough (Hybrid Working Available)\nSalary: £45,000 – £65,000 DOE\n\nAre you an experienced Passive Fire Protection Project Manager looking for your next challenge? We’re representing a leading specialist contractor within the fire protection industry, known for delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, and industrial.\n\nDue to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their team — based from either their Newcastle or Peterborough office, with flexibility to work on a hybrid basis.\n\nThe Role:\n\nYou’ll be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of passive fire protection projects from inception through to completion. This includes managing site teams, ensuring compliance with fire safety standards, maintaining client relationships, and delivering projects on time and within budget.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Manage multiple passive fire protection projects simultaneously\n\n * Coordinate and supervise site teams and subcontractors\n\n * Ensure all works are compliant with relevant fire safety regulations and standards\n\n * Oversee project budgets, scheduling, and quality control\n\n * Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams\n\n * Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve any issues efficiently\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Proven experience managing passive fire protection, Fire Door Installation and / or fire-stopping projects\n\n * Strong technical knowledge of fire protection systems and compliance standards\n\n * Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills\n\n * Ability to manage budgets, deadlines, and client expectations effectively\n\n * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required\n\n * NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry.\n\n * A minimum of 3 years industry experience.\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * Competitive salary.\n\n * Clear pathways for career advancement and professional growth.\n\n * Inclusive and collaborative work environment.\n\n * Access to cutting-edge resources and tools in the industry.\n\nBenefits:\n\n * Regular social events throughout the year\n\n * Gym membership\n\n * Your Birthday off\n\n * Employee assistance counselling program\n\nIf you’re looking to join a well-established, forward-thinking contractor where your expertise will be valued and your career supported, we’d love to hear from you
