Contracts & Small Works Manager\n\nHalifax | Office & Site Based\nUp to £55,000 DOE + Company Vehicle + Excellent Benefits\nFull Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday\n\nReady to take ownership of contracts, projects and client relationships in a growing business?\n\nAttega Group is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and expanding building services provider, for an experienced Contracts & Small Works Manager to join their Northern team based in Halifax.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong HVAC / Mechanical Services / Hard FM background who enjoys managing contracts, delivering projects, and building long-term client relationships.\n\nYou’ll play a key role in overseeing service delivery, managing engineers and subcontractors, pricing works, and delivering small works projects.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Contracts & Small Works Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth delivery of existing service contracts while identifying and developing new opportunities across the Northern region. You’ll manage projects from initial enquiry through to completion, ensuring quality, compliance, commercial performance and excellent customer service throughout.\n\nTypical projects may include:\n\nBoiler replacements\nPlant room upgrades\nAir conditioning installations\nChiller replacements\nHVAC system upgrades\nCommercial combustion works\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage a portfolio of commercial maintenance and service contracts\nOversee planned, reactive and quoted works delivery\nPrice, quote, plan and deliver small works projects up to £50k\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships\nSupport growth through identifying and winning new opportunities\nManage engineers, subcontractors and suppliers\nProcure materials and subcontract packages within budget\nMonitor project costs, margins and commercial performance\nCarry out site visits, progress meetings and service reviews\nEnsure works are completed safely and compliantly\nProduce quotations, reports, scopes of works and management information\nSupport continuous improvement across operations and customer service\n\nAbout You\n\nContracts Manager\nSmall Works Manager\nProjects Manager\nService Delivery Manager\nOperations Manager (Building Services / FM)\nExperience managing commercial HVAC / Hard FM contracts\nStrong knowledge of small works project delivery\nExperience overseeing engineers and subcontractors\nGood commercial awareness and cost control skills\nStrong client-facing and relationship management skills\nIT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook\nFull UK Driving Licence\n\nHighly Desirable:\n\nHVAC bias with Air Conditioning / Chillers experience\nMechanical Services knowledge\nCommercial Gas / Combustion understanding\nFramework or contract experience\n\nWhat’s In It For You?\n\nSalary up to £55,000 DOE\nCompany vehicle + fuel card\nMobile phone & laptop\n25 days holiday + bank holidays\nRising to 28 days with service\nPension scheme\nDeath in service cover\nHealthcare scheme (qualifying period applies)\nOngoing training & career progression\nStable and growing business with long-term opportunities\n\nContact to apply
