Job DescriptionContracts Manager – Structural Repairs / EWI work - Salary up to  £56,000 -  Glasgow with travel to North of Scotland CBW is looking for an experienced and driven Contracts Manager to join a specialist contractor in EWI and structural repairs, following continued business growth. The role involves managing the delivery of various structural repair projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing multiple teams and projects in the construction and cradle divisions
  • \n

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple structural repair contracts, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget

    \n

  • \n

  • Oversee site operations, including programme management, resource allocation, and subcontractor coordination

    \n

  • \n

  • Ensure all works are delivered in compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards, particularly in relation to working at height

    \n

  • \n

  • Monitor project performance against KPIs, specifications, and client expectations

    \n

  • \n

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners

    \n

  • \n

  • Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and progress reviews

    \n

  • \n

  • Manage contract variations, valuations, and commercial aspects of projects

    \n

  • \n

  • Lead and support site teams, ensuring high standards of workmanship and productivity

    \n

  • \n

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across projects

    \n

Person Specification:

  • Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

    \n

  • \n

  • First Aid certificate
  • \n

  • Valid CSCS card

    \n

  • \n

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)

    \n

  • \n

  • Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or similar role within construction or structural repairs

    \n

  • \n

  • Strong knowledge of concrete repairs, structural/remedial works, and EWI (External Wall Insulation) systems

    \n

  • \n

  • Experience working on multi-storey residential or commercial buildings

    \n

  • \n

  • Solid understanding of construction processes, health & safety legislation, and contract management

    \n

  • \n

  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills

    \n

  • \n

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively 

    \n

  • \n
