We’re working with a well-established organisation based in the Midlands that is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects across their civil engineering and infrastructure portfolio. The Role
As a Contracts Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the management and successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion. You’ll ensure all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards while maintaining excellent client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee multiple civil engineering projects across the region, managing site teams and subcontractors.
*
Ensure project delivery meets programme, budget, and quality targets.
*
Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout project lifecycles.
*
Take responsibility for commercial performance, including forecasting, cost control, and risk management.
*
Lead and support Site Managers and Engineers, promoting collaboration and performance excellence.
*
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety requirements.
About You
*
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role within civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure.
*
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
*
Excellent commercial awareness and contractual understanding (NEC/JCT advantageous).
*
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to sites across the Midlands.
