Contracts Manager – Decarbonisation \n\n Oxford | £50,000 + Car Allowance + Fuel Card + Benefits | Full-Time | Permanent\n\n Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a passion for delivering retrofit or energy efficiency projects? We are looking for a driven professional to take ownership of major decarbonisation and sustainability projects in the Oxford region.\n\n This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation at the forefront of low-carbon housing, with a focus on delivering high-quality retrofit solutions that improve homes and communities.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage and deliver retrofit and decarbonisation contracts from start to finish\nOversee insulation, low-carbon heating systems, window/door replacements, and ventilation projects\nEnsure project compliance with health and safety legislation, PAS2030/2035, ECO, and other regulations\nPrepare programmes of work and manage delivery to time and budget\nLead and support site teams, subcontractors, and engineers\nBuild strong relationships with clients, , and stakeholders\nMonitor project quality, compliance, and site performance through regular inspections\nWork closely with commercial teams to manage budgets and ensure profitability\n\nYou’ll bring:\n\nMinimum 5 years’ experience managing retrofit, energy efficiency, or construction projects\nStrong working knowledge of retrofit standards and building regulations\nSMSTS, CSCS (Manager level), IOSH Managing Safely\nFirst Aid at Work certificate (HSE recognised)\nProven leadership and project delivery experience\nFull UK driving licence\nDesirable (but not essential):\n\nRetrofit Coordinator/Assessor qualification\nExperience with M&E systems or low/no carbon heating solutions\nKnowledge of tools like AutoCAD, Power Project, and Microsoft Office\n\nWhat’s in it for you?\n\n£50,000 basic salary\nCar allowance + fuel card\nGenerous staff benefits and pension scheme\nThe chance to lead projects that have a real environmental and social impact\nOngoing training and career development in a growing sector\n\nApply Today\n\n This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the net-zero and retrofit space.
