Job Title: Contracts Manager

Location: Essex

Permanent Salary: DOE - Circa £80,000 – £90,000 + package (see below)

Client: Top 10 Tier 1 Main Contractor

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected, top 10 Tier 1 main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the UK. Due to ongoing project wins and growth in the region, they are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee 2–3 live projects & their associated site teams across the Essex region.

The bulk of current workload sits within the education sector, delivering large-scale school and college builds (Values upwards up £30m+ up to around £80m each, on 2-3 year programmes). However, our client also delivers a wide variety of high-value new-build and refurbishment schemes across healthcare, commercial, industrial, leisure, and residential sectors.

Key Requirements:

• Proven background working in a Contract Manager role for main contractors

• Experience managing multiple live construction projects of values circa £30m +

• Strong leadership and client-facing skills

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required

• Essex-based or commutable to the region

• Comfortable with a blend of site, office, and remote working

• Be willing and able to provide verifiable work references

Package:

As well as a competitive basis salary our client also offers a comprehensive benefits package inc. private healthcare + £5k car allowance + 10% discretionary bonus + 12% pension + laptop/phone + 25 days holidays plus bank holidays
