Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is proud to partner with a premier financial services company based in Miami, FL to recruit an experienced and detail-oriented Contracts Manager. This in-house role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic and collaborative legal team supporting the company's sophisticated financial operations and client relationships.

The Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full contract lifecycle—drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a broad range of commercial contracts. The ideal candidate will bring strong legal acumen, excellent organizational skills, and experience working within the financial services industry or a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, client engagement letters, NDAs, consulting and service agreements, and SLAs

  • Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance

  • Maintain contract databases, monitor deadlines and renewals, and ensure contract obligations are met

  • Collaborate with legal, finance, compliance, operations, and procurement teams to align contracts with company goals and risk management protocols

  • Proactively identify contract risks and recommend strategies for resolution

  • Assist in the development and refinement of standard contract templates, approval workflows, and internal processes

  • Support audits, internal reporting, and due diligence requests related to contract data and compliance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal Certificate or J.D.

  • 4+ years of contracts management experience, preferably in-house within financial services or legal environments

  • Strong working knowledge of legal terms, commercial agreements, and regulatory risk

  • Outstanding attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage priorities under pressure

  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CLM software is a plus
