Contracts Manager
Contracts Manager (Heritage) required in Essex
GVR Solutions are currently with a long standing and well-established client of ours who specialise in Heritage projects across London and East Anglia. They are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team. As a Contracts Manager, you will be heavily involved in heritage projects therefore having a real passion for English architecture is highly important.
The responsibilities of the Contracts Manager are:
* Overseeing and managing projects
* Attend pre-start & progress meetings with Client and Contractor.
* Regularly liaising with Quantity Surveyors, Designers, Site managers and production to ensure successful project delivery.
* Providing relevant information for a successful project, design information, survey information, budget, time frame, health and safety, procurement schedule and RAMS.
* Project reporting - risks, solutions, cost, time frames and solutions.
* Managing project accounts
* Managing and liaising with teams to make sure labour is sourced correctly, working efficiently and working to time frames and working to health and safety rules.
* Overseeing procurement and deliveries.
* Meeting Clients & Contractors to discuss upcoming project requirements and products.
* Make sure compliance is implemented throughout the project
* Liaise with Design teams and internal management to ensure health & safety and Quality Standards
* Liaise with Client and ensure Client Satisfaction through-out the project
As a Contracts Manager you must have/be:
* At least 5 years’ experience in a contract management role
* Experience working on heritage projects
* Proven leadership
* A proven track record of delivery
* Excellent oral and communication skills
* A stable employment history
* Strong attention to detail
* Organised
* Able to manage multiple projects
