Job DescriptionContract Solution Architect (payments & digital platforms) Opus have exclusively partnered with one of our leading digital tech consultancies, who're currently supporting a global client with their urgent need to backfill a Solution Architect (on contract), due to recent departure from the business. Contract Details: Duration: ~5 months (until the end of 2026)Pay Rate: Up to £450 per day, Inside IR35. Working Patterns: 1 day p/w in Milton Keynes office, 4 days working remotely Start Date: Immediate start Interview Structure: Up to 2 stages, initial screening with Head of Data over Teams, this week, with a possible final stage with end-client. Project Details: We require an experienced, Agile Solution Architect who's well-accustomed to handle Cloud workloads to support in the delivery across:\n

• Enterprise Payments Platform 

\n

• Digital Validation & e-signature 

\n

Core Skills & Experience: \n

\n
• Engineering-focused background with Cloud skills (e.g. Azure, AWS)

\n

• Experience working as a Solution Architect on enterprise digital platform transformation programmes. 

\n

• Proven cloud- architecture experience (APIs, microservices)

\n

• Skills in designing secure, cloud- solutions on Azure and/or AWS 

\n

• Knowledge of API-first modern architecture practices and distributed systems, able to produce solution designs and documentation. 

\n

• Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills. 

\n

Desirable Skills & Experience:\n

\n
• Payments project/programme experience

\n

• Hands-on experience with digital , e-signature or customer onboarding solutions 

\n

• .NET Skills 

\n

• UML, ArchiMate or similar 

\n
