Contract Role: Dynamics AX Consultant / System Architect



Location: Manchester (Hybrid / Flexible)

Contract: 3 months (possible extension)

Day Rate: Competitive, depending on experience



We’re looking for an experienced Dynamics AX consultant who’s comfortable taking on a mix of roles – system architect, developer, and problem-solver. This is a hands-on contract where you’ll be expected to hit the ground running, work directly with stakeholders, and keep AX running smoothly while delivering improvements.



What you’ll be doing:

Designing and supporting AX solutions (AX 2012, with some exposure to D365 an advantage).

Writing and fixing code in X++ and dealing with technical issues.



*



Advising on best practice and working with the business to improve processes.



*



Handling integrations, migrations, and performance tuning where needed.



What we’re after:



*



Strong AX 2012 experience (finance, supply chain or manufacturing modules useful).



*



Solid coding background in X++ and understanding of the AX technical framework.



*



Good knowledge of SQL Server, SSRS, and integrations.



*



Someone confident talking to both technical teams and business users.
