Freelance Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

Leeds hybrid • Immediate start • 2–3 month contract (day rate or FTC)

£35,000–£45,000 (pro rata), depending on experience

Ponderosa is looking for a freelance Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join us immediately on a short-term basis, supporting a fast-paced, high-volume integrated account.

This role is all about delivery – you’ll be the engine room behind the scenes, working closely with our studio and creative teams to manage timelines, prioritise workstreams, and keep everything moving.

We’re ideally looking for someone full-time, but would consider a 3-day week (Tuesday to Thursday) for the right person.

Integrated marketing agency experience is essential – you’ll need to be confident juggling campaign plans, timelines, and multiple workstreams within a creative environment.

The essentials:

Start date: Immediate

Location: Leeds (Tuesday to Thursday in the office)

Contract length: 2–3 months

Engagement: Day rate or Fixed-Term Contract – we’re open to either

Salary: £35,000–£45,000 pro rata, depending on experience

Working pattern: Ideally full-time, but 3 days (Tues–Thurs) will be considered

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing daily WIP updates and ensuring delivery stays on track
• Briefing studio and creative teams with clarity and structure
• Owning timelines, budgets, and production plans
• Maintaining up-to-date, detailed WIP documents
• Keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned
• Creating calm, clarity, and confidence under pressure
