Contract Process Engineer – Water Treatment | West Midlands (Hybrid)\n\nFrom £40p hr (Outside IR35)\n\nImmediate start contract role with a global engineering business delivering multi-million-pound water treatment projects across energy and industrial sectors.\n\nThis role spans the full project lifecycle — from process design through to commissioning and optimisation of pure water systems (RO, Ion Exchange, EDI).\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\n * Process design (calculations, mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs)\n\n * Equipment sizing using supplier software and in-house spreadsheets\n\n * Producing technical documentation and functional specs\n\n * Commissioning support, troubleshooting and optimisation\n\n * Working within multidisciplinary project teams\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering\n\n * Experience in water / wastewater / pure water projects\n\n * Strong use of Excel and engineering design tools (AutoCAD desirable)\n\nWest Midlands (Hybrid working) Contract (3–6 months)\n\nInterested?
