Description
The Contract Operations Manager will report into the Operations Director and oversee the operations management team. Based at our clients operation in Surrey, you will be responsible for building operational and contractual best practice whilst delivering service excellence for customers. Key responsibilities will include:
Overall responsibility for financial and operational core targets.
Lead the integration of new contracts and attend contract review and negotiation meetings.
Develop relationships with key customers and drive a culture of customer service and client focus within the service centre.
Lead the operational management to optimise use of resource in order to deliver excellent service.
Lead the development of long-term plans to anticipate future requirements and trends and build capability within the site to manage effectively.
Lead the operations team to work collaboratively to implement standards and ensure compliance against requirements.
Manage arising customer or contracting issues and work with internal and external colleagues to seek resolution.
Work with the SLT regarding ongoing development and implementation of the business strategy to ensure alignment with short term targets and long term goals.
Understand contractual KPI reports and analyse their results to ensure operational performance is consistent; manage any areas that require improvement.
Develop innovative solutions to ensure proactive development of the service.
Profile
The successful Contract Operations Manager will be based at our clients operation in Surrey and be able to demonstrate the following:
Strong operational logistics leadership with experience of having successfully improved operational performance.
A track record in leading strategic customer led operations.
Experience in developing operational best practice in line with Lean Six Sigma techniques.
A commercial approach to solving contracted customer requirements.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills.
Budget and P&L management experience.
Previous experience within a registered ISO9002 company would be desirable with evidence of working within set quality procedures.Job Offer
Competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £70,000 per annum.
