Job Description
We are seeking an experienced OpenStack 17 Architect to join our client on a fully remote basis. This is a short term contract with the possibility of extension. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and optimizing OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
Tasks
- Architect and deploy OpenStack 17 environments, ensuring best practices in cloud infrastructure.
- Design and implement robust cloud solutions for compute, storage, and networking.
- Optimize OpenStack performance, scalability, and security for enterprise-level workloads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation and integration with existing IT ecosystems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex OpenStack-related issues.
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and best practices for OpenStack deployments.
- Work on upgrades, migrations, and optimizations for OpenStack environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an OpenStack Architect or Engineer, with expertise in OpenStack 17.
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and networking.
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP).
- Proficiency in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
- Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning of OpenStack environments.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with excellent communication skills.
