Job Description

John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Contract Manufacturing team in Elgin, IL. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating across departments to support new projects and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate new item and vendor setups, serving as the liaison for ingredient approvals.
• Assist with planning, execution, and follow-up of new projects, including sample requests.
• Support customers with daily business needs and new business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on feasibility studies and plant trials.
• Track and manage obsolete materials, execute scrap requests, and identify associated costs.
• Update weekly customer reports.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent job experience.
• Strong communication skills internally and with customers.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn multiple software programs.
• Ability to remain flexible and manage priorities for several projects simultaneously.
• Comfortability navigating and working in the plant and office settings.
• Foreign skills are a plus.
