This role is for a Contract Engineer who will manage contractual aspects of a regasification (LNG) project in Egypt, starting from the FEED phase and supporting the transition into EPC execution, ensuring the contractor meets obligations and helping prepare and negotiate the next major contract.

• The Contract Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all contractual activities related to the FEED phase of a regasification project, while supporting the preparation and transition to the EPC phase.
• The role involves ensuring contractor compliance, assisting in contract administration, and contributing to the development and negotiation of EPC contracts.
• Working within the Project Management Team and reporting to the Project Control Manager, the Contract Engineer will coordinate with key stakeholders across Paris, London, and Cairo, and support the delivery of the project in line with contractual, commercial, and risk management objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor and ensure contractor (McDermott) compliance with FEED contract obligations
• Support contract administration and manage contractual correspondence
• Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks and deviations
• Assist in the preparation of EPC tender documentation (ITT - Instruction to Tender)
• Analyze contractor bids and support commercial/technical evaluations
• Participate in contract clarifications and negotiations for EPC phase
• Coordinate with project stakeholders (TTE, partners, contractors)
• Provide regular reporting on contract status, risks, and performance
