is seeking a motivated
Consulting Associate, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance
to join our consulting firm in
Washington, DC . In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers on EHS compliance, sustainability, and due diligence projects. This is an excellent career opportunity to work with an expert consulting team on challenging EHS projects for large industrial and global clients in the technology and transportation sectors. Responsibilities:
Assist on EHS compliance, sustainability, and due diligence transaction projects.
Prepare plans, permits, and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, stormwater, and wastewater programs.
Perform EHS compliance assessments and implement corrective actions to ensure regulatory compliance.
Support the development of EHS compliance and management system programs.
Provide general EHS support to clients, including on-site assistance as needed.
Conduct Phase I environmental site assessments for property transactions.
Perform environmental fieldwork and audits on topics such as waste management, soil, water sampling, and ecological studies.
Conduct inspections, incident investigations, safety observations, and risk assessments based on OSHA requirements.
Manage projects within scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring quality standards.
Support ERM Partners and Project Managers in project management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, science, occupational health and safety, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Recent graduate to 1 year of EHS experience, preferably in technology, data centers, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing sectors.
Certifications such as ASP, EIT, CHMM, OSHA30 are desirable.
Effective communication and organizational skills.
Willingness and ability to travel locally up to 60%.
Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
Ability to multi-task, work independently, and maintain flexibility.

Salary range for this entry-level position is approximately $66,880 to $77,317 USD annually, based on various factors including experience and location. The role may be eligible for bonus pay.
