Job Description

A well established main contractor working on new build contracts up to £35m is seeking a Construction Technologist/BIM Manager to join their team based in Corby, Northants.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Technology Integration: Implementing and managing new construction technologies, from surveying tools to design software.\n\n * Design & Coordination: Using BIM and CAD to create detailed, coordinated building plans, ensuring compatibility between architectural, structural, and service designs.\n\n * Data Analysis: Sourcing, analyzing, and evaluating complex project data to solve technical problems and optimize processes.\n\n * Problem-Solving: Developing innovative solutions for unforeseen site challenges, budget constraints, or technical difficulties.\n\n * Technical Support: Providing expert advice to engineers, contractors, and clients on material selection, regulations, and buildability.\n\nSkills & Focus\n\n * Digital Proficiency: Expertise in design software (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM).\n\n * Experience with Procore or a similar software.\n\n * Analytical Skills: Ability to perform advanced calculations and analyze technical data.\n\n * Practical Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction processes, bridging the gap between digital models and on-site execution.\n\n * Collaboration: Working with diverse teams, including architects, engineers, site managers, and clients.\n\nIf this sounds like you and you'd like to join a highly personable growing business and reside with daily commute of Corby please submit a CV to Cameron Brook via this website.\n\nCBA has been recruiting top construction people since 1985
