Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, detail orientated, and talented individual for the position of Construction Surveillance Technician II.
Job Description:
Summary: The Construction Surveillance Technician II’s primary function is to provide “day-to-day” support for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility(SCIF) and Special Access Program Facility(SAP) construction efforts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assesses, identifies and communications recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems.
- Identifies threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks.
- Drafts security incident reports and briefs government and civilian agencies including military senior leaders
- Manages uniformed escort personnel and associated logs; assigns trains, briefs site security duties and ensures timely reporting of security incidents to site lead.
- Follow and enforce customers’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative.
- Shall conduct inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of security spaces.
- Will photograph and continuously monitor the construction of secure spaces and document all steps in order to support final accreditation packets
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight of team members
Requirement:
- Three (3) to Five (5) years related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related area or equivalent (4 years) experience
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience.
- Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience.
- Maximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than 5 years.
Security Requirements:
- Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Programs
- Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph
Skills:
- Knowledgeable on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 (on SCIFs and compliance with uniform IC physical and technical security requirements)
- Must be familiar with security policy/manuals and the appropriate DCIDs/JAFANs and other guiding policy documents
- Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel within the organizational geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR) (note - could be extensive, and will include both air and ground transportation)
Physical Requirements: This position requires employees to be willing and able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.
Communication: Excellent customer service via phone and face to face conversation, excellent written and oral command of English.
