Construction Superintendent in Washington

The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties, and be able to establish a timeline for completion. Superintendents work closely with the project manager to ensure the project remains on track. MacBracey typical working hours are Monday - Thursday from 7AM- 5PM but are subject to change at any point. We typically work within a 1 hour radius of Washington, PA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of construction projects ranging from $500,000 - $5,000,000
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
• Communicate project progress with clients and project managers
• Manage subcontractors and construction site organization and scheduling
• Effectively manage a small crew of carpenters and laborers

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction area. Strong project management and communications skills are required. The ability to be a leader and run a small crew efficiently is necessary.
• Ability to read construction blueprints
  
• General knowledge in all areas of construction including MEPs
• Hands on experience with drywall, carpentry, plumbing, light electrical, etc.
