Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with a strong background in managing multifamily unit projects, with a experience of 7 to 10 years. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
  • Oversee and manage all phases of multifamily construction projects, from initial planning to final inspection and handover.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Site Supervision:
  • Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues or discrepancies.
  • Manage and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during construction, maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Resource Management:
  • Ensure optimal utilization of labor, materials, and equipment to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring budget adherence and minimizing waste.
  • Procure necessary permits and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
• Quality Control:
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks and inspections to identify and rectify any deficiencies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, changes, and quality control activities.
• Safety Management:
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures on-site.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field ().
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, specifically with multifamily unit projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in construction management software and project scheduling tools.
• OSHA certification and other relevant industry certifications ().
