General Superintendent - Construction

Full-Time | Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License Required

We’re looking for a General Superintendent to join our senior leadership team and drive operational excellence across all active projects.

This is a high-impact role for a proven construction leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, empowers teams, and ensures every project meets our standards for safety, quality, and delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor Job-Site Superintendents and field teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
• Conduct daily check-ins with Superintendents to track milestones, scheduling, and productivity.
• Interpret construction documents and provide technical guidance in the field.
• Partner with executive leadership on project planning, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Lead project kickoffs and coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams.
• Oversee and refine two-week lookahead schedules to maintain project momentum.
• Support drafting of scopes of work and subcontractor agreements.
• Ensure compliance with inspections, codes, and safety standards—including OSHA 30.
• Conduct regular site visits and lead jobsite and safety meetings.
• Mentor junior staff, foster career growth, and strengthen team culture.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews for field staff.

What We’re Looking For

These credentials & experience are required to be considered for this role:

• Active Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Experience: 10–15 years in construction, with at least 10 years in a supervisory/leadership role.

Additional qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s in Civil or Structural Engineering but not required.
• Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities; ability to mentor and develop teams; advanced knowledge of construction practices and safety regulations.
• Tech: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
