Position Summary

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing daily jobsite operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role serves as the primary on-site leader and point of contact for all field activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities from start to finish

- Supervise subcontractors, trades, and field personnel

- Prepare, maintain and enforce project schedules and sequencing

- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and company standards

- Enforce jobsite safety and OSHA compliance

- Conduct site meetings and communicate progress with project managers and ownership

- Coordinate inspections, testing, deliveries, and site logistics

- Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on track

- Prepare accurate daily reports and documentation for distribution

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role in commercial construction

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sequencing

- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications

- Proven leadership and team management skills

- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

- Experience managing multiple trades on active job sites

-Ability to prepare CPM type schedules and modify as situations dictate

- Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Master Library, or similar )

- OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)

- Valid driver’s license
