Job Description

Construction Superintendent – Hotel

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee hotel construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing ground-up construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily construction operations on hotel projects
• Interface with local inspectors and city/county officials as needed
• Enforce jobsite safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings
• Manage field staff, including Assistant Superintendents and Engineers
• Identify and resolve day-to-day field issues to maintain smooth project progress
• Maintain accurate job and progress reports, and other project documentation
• Ensure overall project success, including safety, budget, schedule, and quality
• Develop project schedules, determine work sequencing, and implement strategies to maintain timelines
• Maintain professional working relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors
• Provide regular updates and correspondence to the Project Manager

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years as a Superintendent managing ground-up construction projects, preferably hotels/ hospitality projects
• Proficient in Procore or similar construction management software, and Microsoft Office
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
