About the Opportunity

Our client, a respected general contractor with deep roots in educational construction, is hiring aConstruction Superintendentto lead K-12 institutional projects in the greater Dublin, OH area. You will coordinate field operations to ensure that timelines, safety standards, budgets, and quality expectations are met. The Superintendent will serve as the on-site leadowning day-to-day subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and site safety, while working closely with the Project Manager and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Preconstruction

• Assist with developing phasing plans, schedules, and logistics
• Collaborate on constructability reviews, bid scopes, and subcontractor procurement

Construction Phase

• Lead daily field operations, subcontractor management, and jobsite logistics
• Ensure safety compliance, inspection readiness, and secure jobsite protocols
• Drive schedule adherence, cost control, and quality control including punch lists
• Produce daily reports, manage permit process, and maintain as-builts
• Conduct OAC and Foreman meetings, mentor junior field staff

Additional

• Participate in business development opportunities (RFQ/RFP, interviews)
• Ensure full compliance with company policies and client contracts

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Superintendent on commercial or K-12 education builds
• Proven leadership in subcontractor coordination and schedule execution
• 10-Hour OSHA, CPR & First Aid Certification required
• Strong knowledge of local code, permitting, and inspection processes
• Tech-savvy with daily report software and document control platforms
