Job Description

Construction Superintendents | Oil & Gas / Chemical | Cologne, Germany (M/W/D)

Long-term Freelance/Contract Assignment

ENG Bauen has been awarded a direct mandate to support a global EPCm organisation looking to increase their project execution capabilities. The client's objective is to develop their construction management expertise, ensuring their European Project Group has the capabilities to deliver an extensive portfolio of projects across the EU.

We are now looking to engage with construction superintendents across Europe with a background in the oversight and management of high-value greenfield construction projects and looking to take up a long-term contract position.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the operation of the construction site. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas in order to maintain the safety of workers. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties and be able to establish a timeline for completion.

Position Summary:

• Oversee daily operation of construction projects
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
• Communicate project progress with clients and project managers
• Manage subcontractors and construction site organization

The Ideal Candidate should be/have:

• 10+ years of experience in construction projects
• A engineering discipline in either Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering
• Familiarity with German HSE Construction Regulations
• English and German Fluency
• Familiarity with regulatory construction standards
