Corderman & Company, a leading Boston-based construction management firm and multi-year Top Places to Work award winner, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Superintendent to lead high-end interior construction projects in the Greater Boston area. This is a leadership role for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, thrives in complex environments, and understands what it means to deliver outstanding work while upholding a client-first mindset.
As Superintendent, you will be the key decision-maker in the field, responsible for managing day-to-day operations, safety, trade partners, scheduling, and site logistics. You will be backed by a collaborative Corderman team, including in-house Labor, Carpentry, and Trucking, and equipped with the tools and support to succeed.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead all on-site construction activities from project start through final project closeout
- Oversee trade partners, vendors, inspections, and deliveries to maintain schedule and quality
- Participate in pre-construction efforts including scope reviews, buyout, phasing, and constructability input
- Develop and maintain a full understanding of project goals, schedules, milestones, and logistics
- Conduct daily walkthroughs, lead field meetings, and manage progress documentation
- Serve as the primary on-site liaison for clients, architects, engineers, and project managers
- Enforce safety protocols, maintain clean and organized jobsites, and ensure adherence to OSHA standards
- Proactively resolve field issues and coordinate real-time solutions
- Partner with the project team to manage look-ahead schedules
- Track progress, identify delays, and assist with schedule recovery strategies to ensure on-time project completion
- Manage punch list completion and project turnover with precision
- Mentor and support junior staff
- Promote a collaborative jobsite culture and uphold Corderman’s standards for professionalism and quality
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional client-facing demeanor
- Deep understanding of interior systems, field coordination, and construction sequencing
- Familiarity with MA State Building Codes and the Greater Boston permitting environment
- Experience working in occupied buildings and logistically complex environments
- Proven ability to lead trade partners and field teams to meet schedule and quality goals
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency with or exposure to Procore and Bluebeam
- Skilled in maintaining look-ahead schedules and supporting cost-control goals
- Ability to monitor, enforce, and model jobsite safety and professionalism
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-10+ years of supervisory experience on commercial interior projects in Greater Boston
- Valid unrestricted Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License
- OSHA 30 certification
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

The salary range for this position is $85,000-$190,000. The stated salary range represents the company’s good-faith estimate of compensation for this role at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as project experience, skills, and qualifications.
