The Superintendent is responsible for:
- Providing overall administrative and technical management at the construction project site.
- Managing all on-site construction activities including, self-perform labor, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Administration of the jobsite safety program and quality management.
- Overall schedule coordination and supervision.
The right Superintendent has the following qualifications:
- 8-10+ years of experience in the construction industry
- Strong background in large-scale hospital / healthcare projects
- Bachelors' degree in Construction Management
- MA CSL, OSHA 10, OSHA 30
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively
- Ability to work with and manage multiple people
- Understands building plans and specs
- Safety standards knowledge and enforcement
- Proficiency with construction management software
- Thorough knowledge of Corporate/Industry Safety standards
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A track record of successfully delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget
- Working knowledge of CPM schedule, cost report and labor production report
- Thorough knowledge of corporate quality program and subcontract
