We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with a strong background in commercial construction to oversee projects across North Carolina. This role requires traveling within the state to manage on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to coordinate teams, subcontractors, and schedules in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise all field operations on commercial construction sites, including scheduling, safety, quality control, and subcontractor coordination.

Manage day-to-day site activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to align field operations with project goals.

Conduct regular site inspections and enforce jobsite safety standards.

Maintain accurate daily reports, progress logs, and project documentation.

Lead site meetings with subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and track progress.

Monitor and manage project schedules, manpower, and resources to meet deadlines.

Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.

Serve as the main point of contact at the jobsite, representing the company to clients, inspectors, and partners.
Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction.

Proven track record overseeing projects such as retail, office buildings, healthcare, multifamily, or institutional facilities.

Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, and site logistics.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project) .

Strong communication skills for interacting with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.

OSHA certification or equivalent safety training .

Willingness to travel across North Carolina.
