About the Opportunity
A leading general contractor is hiring a Construction Superintendent with experience managing multi-family and affordable housing projects. Youll lead field operations on large-scale stick-frame and podium developments from site mobilization through final turnover.
This is a high-impact role for someone who understands the nuances of high-density residential construction and can coordinate teams and trades in a fast-moving environment focused on quality, schedule, and safety.
What Youll Do
- Manage day-to-day site operations for affordable and market-rate multi-family housing projects
- Oversee all phases of construction including foundation, framing, MEP systems, and finishes
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure performance meets project specs and local code
- Use tools like Bluebeam, Procore, and MS Project to track progress, RFIs, and documentation
- Monitor safety compliance and maintain a clean, secure jobsite
- Lead daily site meetings and keep all stakeholders aligned on timelines and next steps
- Ensure inspection readiness and support closeout procedures
- Train and mentor junior supers and field staff to ensure consistency and performance
What You Bring
- 37+ years as a superintendent or construction manager on multi-family residential or affordable housing builds
- Hands-on experience with stick-frame, podium, and Type III/Type V construction
- Familiarity with LIHTC or HUD-funded projects is a plus
- Strong knowledge of site logistics, safety requirements, sequencing, and building systems
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- OSHA 10 Certification required; First Aid/CPR
- Willingness to travel regionally if needed
