CoreBuilt is a steadily growing General Contractor in Evanston, IL. Our jobs range from small interior build-outs to new ground-up commercial construction.

We are a lean, nimble group seeking a super with 3+ years of commercial construction experience who can immediately step in as a Leader of field-related activities including but not limited to scope vetting, budget review, subcontractor awards, project planning, scheduling, and complete buildout execution and closeout.

DUTIES:

· Coordinating construction project resources.

· Tracking project progress against established timelines and schedules.

· Ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to specification.

· Acting as a liaison between the client and project team members regarding field changes.

· Being proactive in identifying discrepancies or problems due to existing conditions.

· Select and coordinate the work of vendors, contractors, or subcontractors.

· Manage all project materials and scheduling tasks in support of assigned projects.

· Track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other indicators.

· Create and deliver daily and weekly reports to internal team and external stakeholders.

· Physically advance work on site in any way possible to ensure timely project delivery.

· Maintain impeccably clean and organized jobsite.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have 3 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Must understand construction blueprints for all trades.
• Must be willing to travel regionally.
• Must take full ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Must be tenacious and unrelenting.
• Must be willing to fill in at any level where there's an immediate need.
• Must have ideas to improve methods and processes and be brave enough to present them.
• Must have a higher standard for quality control than the most particular client.
• Must be an over-communicator.
• Must be a leader.
• Must be able to solve problems creatively.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have an excellent driving record.
• Must have ability to be hands-on at your construction sites.
• Must love a fast pace and relish the hustle.
• Work truck/van is a plus.
• Must love construction!

SKILLS:

• Familiarity with Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, OneDrive/365.
• Multilingual language skills are a plus.
