Synergy Labor Solutions is hiring Construction Spotters for a large data center project in the Cedar Rapids, IA area.

Multiple openings | Monday 10/05 start | Approx. 6-month project

Pay: $20/hr
Schedule: Monday–Saturday
Hours: 10–12 hour days
Start Time: 6:00 AM
Start Date: Monday, 10/05
Duration: Approximately 6 months
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA area
Local Position – No Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Spot and monitor heavy equipment operating throughout the construction site
• Maintain safe distances between equipment, workers, and active work areas
• Watch for blind spots, traffic congestion, and potential hazards
• Use standard hand signals to communicate with equipment operators
• Help prevent unauthorized entry into active or restricted areas
• Assist crews with basic construction/electrical-helper duties as directed

Requirements

• OSHA 10 REQUIRED – must have been completed within the past 5 years
• Must have hard hat, safety-toe work boots, hi-vis vest, safety glasses, and gloves
• Must be available Monday–Saturday for 10–12 hour shifts
• Must be able to communicate effectively for jobsite safety and direction
• Comfortable working outdoors and around heavy equipment on an active construction site
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Construction, electrical, industrial, or data center experience is a plus

Required site and badging must be completed before beginning work. has an early reporting time, and punctual attendance is required.
