Job Description

The Safety Manager will collaborate closely with the Safety Director, other Safety Managers, and the onsite Project Manager to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prevent and reduce job-site incidents or injuries.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and NFPA regulations across the jobsite.
• Enforce all job-site safety policies and procedures.
• Document and report safety violations, incidents, or injuries promptly and accurately to the Safety Director and Project Manager.
• Liaise with Safety Managers from other General Contractor companies to share best practices, reporting, and safety strategies.
• Spanish/bilingual skills are strongly , but not necessary.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet at least one of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety + 1 year of relevant experience.
• Safety Certification (STS-C, CHST, CSP, etc.) + 3 years of relevant construction supervision experience.
• 5 years of relevant safety experience + OSHA 30 certification.

Job Requirements

• Ability to work up to a 56-hour work week, typically:
  • Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (subject to change based on company needs and weather conditions).
  • Friday–Saturday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (subject to change based on company needs and weather conditions).
• Overtime included.
• Work is primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions (hot/cold/wet/dry).
• Must oversee construction environments and workers handling electrical connections and installations.
• Must pass a drug test (EC Electric is a drug-free workplace).

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on qualifications) + overtime pay.
• Health benefits are available after 30 days.
• 401(k) retirement plan available after 90 days.
• Per Diem eligibility (site-specific).
• Personal Time Off (PTO) eligibility after 180 days.
