As a Construction & Site Development Crew Member, you’ll work on-site performing excavation, pipe installation, grading, and soil compaction. You’ll operate heavy equipment, use hand tools, and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.

Compensation:

$22 - $26 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Move Dirt – Operate skid steers, loaders, and excavators or use hand tools to dig trenches, backfill, and grade surfaces.
• Set Pipe – Install underground water, sewer, drainage, or other utility piping to proper grade and alignment.
• Place and Pack – Backfill and compact soil around installed pipe to ensure stability and prevent settling.
• Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and work efficiently with the team to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction, excavation, or utility installation .
• Ability to operate or assist with heavy equipment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site in Surrey, ND.
