Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Construction Site Coordinator to manage daily operations and ensure smooth project execution for our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service focus, experience with QuickBooks, and prior construction industry knowledge. This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site presence and remote work flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
· Address and resolve any customer inquiries, concerns, or issues related to the construction project.
· Maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
Project Coordination:
· Assist with scheduling and managing construction tasks to ensure timely completion.
· Monitor project progress and provide updates to clients and management.
· Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for supplies, equipment, and labor.
· Ensure all safety standards and regulations are adhered to on-site.
Administrative Support:
· Utilize QuickBooks for invoicing, billing, and tracking project-related expenses.
· Process purchase orders, track payments, and manage budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.
· Maintain organized and up-to-date records for all project documentation (contracts, permits, etc.).
· Prepare reports and assist in financial tracking and forecasting.
On-Site Presence:
· Visit the construction site regularly (3 days a week) to ensure operations are running smoothly.
· Assist with coordinating on-site meetings and activities.
· Supervise site logistics and ensure compliance with project timelines.
Communication:
· Act as a liaison between project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure clear communication.
· Prepare and send status reports and project updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Experience:
· Prior experience in a construction-related role is strongly .
· Experience with customer service in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
· Strong knowledge of QuickBooks for financial management and project tracking.
Skills:
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
· Knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and safety protocols.
Technical:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Familiarity with project management software is a plus.
