Service Technician – Barringer Construction Service Solutions

Barringer Construction is looking for a skilled, driven Service Technician to join our fast‐paced Service Team. If you take pride in quality work, communicate like a pro, and thrive on variety, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the go‐to expert for a wide range of service needs—keeping projects running smoothly and clients delighted. Work includes routine inspections, installations, repairs, and hands‐on craftsmanship across carpentry, fixtures, and general maintenance.
Types of tasks you may tackle:

• Carpentry, metal/wood framing, and cabinetry work
• Drywall, paint, wallcoverings, and water‐damage repairs
• Doors, frames, hardware, ceiling grid/tile, and fixture installations

·         Furniture, partitions, picture hanging, and space refreshes
You’ll also coordinate subcontractors and keep communication flowing with the Service Team to ensure seamless project delivery.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 3+ years of construction or maintenance experience, with technical training a plus (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Strong attention to detail and scheduling.
• Clear, professional communicator—comfortable interacting with customers, teammates, and subcontractors.
• Ability to interpret instructions, plans, and schedules with confidence.
• English fluency required; additional welcome.

Physical & Practical Requirements

This is a field‐based role at active service job sites. You’ll need to:

• Work on your feet, climb ladders, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs (or more with a partner).
• Safely operate hand and power tools.
• Hold a valid NC driver’s license and confidently drive a company truck.
