The primary responsibility of the Construction Estimator will be to prepare and submit accurate and competitive bids for commercial construction projects. This will involve gathering and analyzing project information, developing cost estimates, and preparing bid packages. The Construction Estimator will also work closely with the project team to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction materials and methods, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also be proficient in using construction estimating software.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit accurate and competitive bids for commercial construction projects
  • Gather and analyze project information, including specifications, drawings, and site conditions
  • Develop cost estimates based on historical data, market conditions, and other factors
  • Prepare bid packages, including proposals, schedules, and cost estimates
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in the commercial, healthcare or industrial construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction materials and methods
  • Proficiency in using construction estimating software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
