Markon is seeking a Construction Security Manager to support one of our Intelligence Community Customers.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting onsite construction security, physical security, and blast assessment surveys of Government facilities or potential sites worldwide.
  • Writing reports detailing the potential vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies based on these surveys.
  • Providing ad hoc support to the Area Security Officer (ASO) regarding all security disciplines.
  • Attending meetings, preparing and editing documentation.
  • Investigating and inspecting circumstances to resolve events that impact security.
  • Performing Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SClF) assessments.
  • Overseeing security-related activities, including:
    • Construction security planning and monitoring.
    • Participating in security oversight inspections.
    • Liaising with representatives of other Government agencies.
    • Contingency planning.


Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI FSP required
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field; high school, vocational school, or trade school diploma and five (5) years’ work experience in a similar field may be substituted for degree requirement
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in physical security, including three (3) years’ experience in construction security of USG or commercial facilities
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience applying. This requirement is classified and is available on the high side. Please work with your company’s designated POC to obtain this information.


Salary Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
