About the Role

MWH is seeking a Scheduling to join our team based in Phoenix, AZ. This role supports the planning and execution of high-profile water and wastewater construction projects and provides hands-on exposure to how complex infrastructure work is delivered.

As a Scheduling , you will work alongside experienced project controls and construction professionals who are invested in mentoring and knowledge-sharing. You will gain practical experience building, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules while learning how scheduling supports decision-making on active projects.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in creating and updating construction schedules, incorporating changes, delays, and unforeseen circumstances

  • Monitor project progress and identify areas where adjustments may be needed

  • Assist in analyzing project data to identify ways to optimize scheduling efficiency

  • Support the scheduling team in providing accurate and timely reports to management and stakeholders

  • Assist with developing, updating, and maintaining construction schedules under the guidance of project controls and scheduling staff

  • Track project progress and help identify schedule impacts, changes, or potential delays

  • Support schedule analysis by reviewing project data, activities, and sequencing to improve accuracy and efficiency

  • Prepare and help distribute routine schedule updates and reports for internal teams and project leadership

  • Collaborate with project teams to gather schedule-related inputs and verify progress information

  • Maintain organized scheduling documentation and support best practices for schedule controls

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field

  • Strong interest in the construction and infrastructure industry, with a desire to learn scheduling and project controls fundamentals

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize and manage information accurately

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction

Qualifications

  • Coursework or exposure related to construction scheduling, project controls, or construction management

  • Familiarity with scheduling or project management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, or similar

  • Prior , co-op, or field experience in construction or engineering

  • Interest in water or wastewater infrastructure projects

Compensation: $25-$26 per hour
