Town and Country is seeking a motivated and qualified Construction Coordinator to join our team. Are you a self-starter interested in making things happen? Do you enjoy a busy work environment? Do you have construction experience?
Permabilt Industries, Inc. with its Town & Country Post Frame Buildings Division is the largest post frame building contractor in Western Washington. Since 1973, a specialization in design and construction of post and wood frame, steel-covered buildings have brought Town & Country to a level of quality and workmanship few can surpass. Town & Country has produced over 23,000 structures to date. This is a high volume, quality, and service-oriented position.
The Role:
As the Construction Coordinator you will be responsible for aiding the construction team within the office in all aspects of construction from pre-construction to project end. This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong work drive. Duties:
- Scheduling and interacting with sub-contractors to meet production deadlines.
- Communication with customers.
- Coordination of material deliveries.
- Interacting with inspectors and jurisdictions.
Requirements:
- Ability to schedule for multiple departments, plan, and meet deadlines.
- Act decisively, be flexible, and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literate, fluent in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- Minimum two years related experience or equivalent education.
- Must demonstrate assertive and attentive communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Construction experience a plus but not required.
