We're seeking a Residential Construction Sales Representative to drive new business opportunities and foster relationships with existing clients. You will play a pivotal role in growing our client base by understanding customer needs, delivering tailored solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional service. This person possesses a knowledge of residential construction, a background in sales/marketing, and strong interpersonal communication skills. They must generate enough estimates and sales volume to support the company's goals and objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed targets through monitored KPI's.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with marketing, estimating, and project management teams to create customized
  • proposals.
  • Manage leads through our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Participate in sales training sessions to maximize close rates and help track sales success through company KPI's.
  • Address client concerns promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
  • Attendance at after-hours networking functions.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Is personally aligned with JLV's core values and demonstrates them with intention and action
  • Sales experience 5+ years, residential construction sales experience strongly
  • Ability to read blueprints, perform material take-offs, and discuss plans with architects, project
  • managers, interior designers, etc
  • Client management/relationships
  • Sales planning
  • Understanding the customer
  • Creative services
  • Ability to think outside the box to achieve the client and company's objectives
  • Be the advocate for and trusted advisor to the client

Compensation:

  • Full Time position
  • $50,000 base salary + additional commission on all sales
  • Uncapped earning potential
