We're seeking a Residential Construction Sales Representative to drive new business opportunities and foster relationships with existing clients. You will play a pivotal role in growing our client base by understanding customer needs, delivering tailored solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional service. This person possesses a knowledge of residential construction, a background in sales/marketing, and strong interpersonal communication skills. They must generate enough estimates and sales volume to support the company's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
- Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed targets through monitored KPI's.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with marketing, estimating, and project management teams to create customized
- proposals.
- Manage leads through our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Participate in sales training sessions to maximize close rates and help track sales success through company KPI's.
- Address client concerns promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
- Attendance at after-hours networking functions.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Is personally aligned with JLV's core values and demonstrates them with intention and action
- Sales experience 5+ years, residential construction sales experience strongly
- Ability to read blueprints, perform material take-offs, and discuss plans with architects, project
- managers, interior designers, etc
- Client management/relationships
- Sales planning
- Understanding the customer

- Ability to think outside the box to achieve the client and company's objectives
- Be the advocate for and trusted advisor to the client
Compensation:
- Full Time position
- $50,000 base salary + additional commission on all sales
- Uncapped earning potential
