Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Construction Sales Representative to join our growing team and drive revenue growth within our specialized market of custom home builders. You will be responsible for building relationships with builders, identifying new opportunities, and expanding our customer base across Central Florida.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and develop a sales territory within a 45-mile radius of Orlando, including Orange County, Lake County, Jacksonville, and Palm Coast • Identify and pursue new custom home builders who need reliable shell construction partners
• Utilize cold calling, networking, and referral strategies to generate qualified leads
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing builder clients through strategic account management
• Present WFG Homes' comprehensive services including concrete work, framing, masonry, and grading
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless transition from sales to project execution
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and builder association meetings (GOBA)
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in residential construction industry
• Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably with custom home builders or construction companies
• Strong understanding of construction processes, particularly shell construction, concrete, framing, and masonry
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and project specifications
• Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications:
• Existing relationships with custom home builders in Central Florida
• Experience with construction project management software (Buildertrend )
• Knowledge of building codes and construction regulations
• Previous experience selling construction services with project values $100K+
